Evan Rachel Wood Clarifies Miley Cyrus Gay Joke
Evan Rachel Wood really wishes the world would take a collective chill pill.
In reaction to Miley Cyrus' new haircut (perhaps you've heard a thing or two dozen about it?), the actress joked around on Twitter and wrote: "I called it! Miley Cyrus is leaning toward gay."
Wood, a known bisexual, then deleted the message after receiving some backlash and posted the following explanation.
"Ok. To be clear. I believe you should be able to joke and have a sense of humor about everything. And i hate explaining, but just to be clear, i dont judge people on how they look. Nor do i associate a hair style with sexuality. I myself am bisexual and have always 'joked' about miley giving me gay vibes. Not a bad thing! Just an observation.
So i 'joked' when she cut her hair that it supported my case. But, i am not so close minded or into stereotypes or labeling. It was a joke. Period. could care less what gender she was attracted to. But dont hate me for supporting her in whatever She chooses. Its all fine by me. That is all."
It seems fine by Cyrus, too. She replied to Wood and simply wrote: "well said! Let's be friends."
Everyone can relax now.

The Prince Harry naked photo scandal may be far from over.
Max Clifford, one of the most powerful and prominent publicists in Britain, says he's "been approached by two American girls" claiming to have additional photos and evidence from Harry's wild night in Vegas, according to Us.
"I turned them down," Clifford says, however "there's more out there. Stories which wont go down well with the Royal family. It could get worse."
How much worse? That remains to be seen. Harry will be in the doghouse regardless, but right now the two nude shots are actually pretty tame.
If a deluge of new, crazier photos were to hit the Internet, the nude pic scandal could become a royal pain ... in a manner of speaking of course.
British newspaper The Sun ignored a warning from the palace and a regulatory ruling on Friday morning by controversially publishing the pics.
Imagine what kind of hullabaloo would go down if there were a full frontal shot of the crown jewels exposed ... think Harry's sweating right now?

Usher Wins Primary Custody of Two Children
It's been long and it's been ugly, but for Usher Raymond, it's all been worth it:
A judge has awarded the singer primary custody of the two children he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.
The case has gone back and forth for months, with Foster alleging that Usher was an irresponsible father who took drugs in front of his kids. Accusations of infidelity, inattentiveness and a great deal of name-calling have also been tossed around by both sides. Usher even cried once on the witness stand.
But the court has now sided with Usher and the former couple's sons will spend a majority of time with their father.
Foster will receive some custodial rights, but it's unclear at the moment just how the arrangement will work.

David Beckham is speaking out against allegations that he had an affair with Welsh singer and Dancing With the Stars finalist Katherine Jenkins.
A spokesman for Beckham tells E! News:
"Unfortunately, we have to deal with this type of nonsense on Twitter. One minute David is dead, then the more scurrilous rumors, there is no truth to any of it."
Jenkins also took to her Twitter to squash this piece of celebrity gossip:
"Dear Twitter friends, I've read some horrible rumours on here & want u all 2 know I absolutely deny I've had an affair with David Beckham. These rumours are extremely hurtful, untrue & my lawyers tell me actionable."
"I've only met David twice ... [the last time] we were out in a group of friends & it was just a normal fun evening out. Just so we are clear I have never been on my own with him and never arranged to meet up."

“I remain celibate to this day – it’s almost 14 years now – and I touch no one but myself [in the film],” the Octomom: Home Alone star revealed to Celebuzz.
This year's Octomom porn film flew in the face of her earlier claims that she would never, ever appear in such immoral films. Why the change of heart?
“I had to make money quick,” admits Nadya, whose La Habra, Calif., home is now in foreclosure. “I never wanted to delve into the entertainment industry."
"It was the way to make the most money. As a mother of 14, I accepted that I had to eat my words, and I own that ... I’m very proud of the film.”
There was also a silver lining ... a sexy one.
“It was facing one of my ultimate fears,” Suleman said. “I was always uncomfortable with sexuality in general – so the film was very liberating and empowering.”
Ugh.
As for what she tells her brood, "they’re totally desensitized ... we have all been through things together, and our experiences allowed all of us to pull out strengths we never realized we possessed. I raise them in total honesty, but I don’t tell them details."
Smart move. It's one thing to know your mom made a self-pleasure porno, another thing to sit through it or have her discuss the details. Same goes for her "Sexy Party" single. It's probably for the best they don't actually hear that atrociousness.

Stars Tweet Shock, Sadness Over Empire State Building Tragedy
Two people were killed and at least eight others injured in a shooting spree outside the Empire State Building this morning.
A 53-year old named Jeffrey Johnson, who was shot to death by police on the scene, is suspected of starting the incident in due to a dispute with a former coworker.
In response to the tragedy, a myriad of celebrities have expressed shock and remorse over Twitter. We've included a few of their thoughts below, some of which touch on the topic of gun control...

The Hunger Games has sold 3.8 million copies in its first two days of release, outpacing both previous installments of that other popular young adult series.
In February, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 sold 3.2 million DVDs and Blu-rays on its first weekend, while Eclipse came out to 2.7 million in December 2010.
There's still a long way to go for The Hunger Games, of course, as Catching Fire - with Sam Claflin as the key character of Finnick Odair - hits theaters in November 2013, but sound off now:

But all is not well in this household, according to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, which quotes a friend as saying Disick is on a "downward spiral" and "more of a mess than I’ve ever seen him.”
The cover story alleges that Disick is "back on drugs" and often partying while high on cocaine. Yes, folks, the "evil Scott" is back, says another source:

Michael Bloomberg Issues Statement on Empire State Building Shooting
In the wake of this morning's Empire State Building shooting - in which Jeffrey Johnson is accused of killing a former coworker and wounding up to eight bystanders - New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has issued a statement.
"Earlier this morning, a man who had been fired from his job about a year ago began shooting. He killed one person, at least nine shot. Some may have been accidentally shot by the police," Bloomberg said as a summary, adding:
"I ask everyone to keep victims in their thoughts. This is a terrible tragedy, and it would be no doubt more tragic without the heroic acts of the policemen. Every day, the police put their lives on the line to save lives bravely.
"NYC is the safest big city in the country, but we are not immune to the national problem of gun violence. This is the beginning of an investigation. Two are dead — the perpetrator and his victim. He does not appear to have a criminal record [at this time]. We're just starting this investigation."
Bloomberg is an outspoken supporter of stricter gun control laws. It will be interesting to see what sort of action, if any, he takes in response to this tragedy.

Robin Roberts Speaks on "Respect" for Ann Curry, GMA Versus Today Show Rivalry
They may have been rivals for approximately one year, and Good Morning America overtaking The Today Show in the ratings may have led to Ann Curry's departure from the latter program, but that doesn't mean Robin Roberts was happy to see her fellow journalist go.
Appearing on Piers Morgan Tonight yesterday, Robert said she doesn't "take joy" in watching The Today Show fall apart, not when there are actual human beings in the other end.
"Let me tell you, the morning that Ann [Curry] said her goodbye, we were watching," Robins said. "And on our program, which you don't see very often, we spent the last couple of minutes talking about Ann Curry...and appreciating her, and such great respect."
Roberts, of course, has gone through her own emotional journey this year, having just returned to the GMA co-anchor chair after a few weeks ago.
Five months after beating breast cancer, Robins revealed this summer that she is battling a rare blood and bone marrow disorder. A bone marrow transplant is scheduled for early September.

Chad Johnson mistresses are popping up left and right in the wake of his recent arrest for head-butting Evelyn Lozada and her subsequent divorce filing.
We're not talking Tiger Woods levels here, but it certainly does not appear the NFL star was faithful ... as if the condom receipt hadn't established this.
A Massachusetts woman, Beverly Shiner, already came forward and said she had a heated affair with the former New England Patriots player this year.
She may not have been alone in the Ochocinco side piece arena.
"Chad has been having an affair with another woman from Miami named Bianca Zuluaga for the past year," an insider revealed to Radar Online.
"Chad would mostly spend time with Bianca while Evelyn was out of town on her book tour or filming. They would even meet at David's Café in Miami."
"[David's] is one of his regular hangout joints and they didn't go to any lengths at all to hide the fact that they were there together."
The sexy brunette liked to cryptically brag about it too, allegedly.
"Whenever she refers to 'chocolate' in her Twitter, she is talking about Chad and admits she has 'Jungle Fever' and loves chocolate men," said the source.
Just two days before Chad wed Evelyn Lozada July 4, Bianca tweeted: "Some people on my Twitter need to stop hating my preference for chocolate!!!"
In earlier postings, she expressed her desire to see her tall, dark man. "I can't take this anymore I need chocolate!!! My body is going into shock!"
Hilariously, his well-documented obsession with Twitter annoyed more than just his employer (the Dolphins cut Chad Johnson right after his arrest).
On June 16, the football player tweeted from the restaurant that he was watching ESPN there, and less than an hour later his alleged lunch date wrote:
"David's Café, I'm back! And I've missed you… but the company sucks, forever tweeting."
Radar also claims Chad was dating stripper Amber Priddy from Atlanta, Ga., who he paid $2,000 each month to cover her rent in the recent past.

There's a lot of rushing through rush hour traffic going on in Premium Rush, however the pay-off for all the adrenaline-pumping action just isn't there. Set in the world of New York City bike messengers, Premium Rush finds Joseph Gordon-Levitt (also currently on the big screen in The Dark Knight Rises) showing off his action skills. But even JGL isn't enough to make Premium Rush worth the price of a ticket. Read our full review for the lowdown on this action thriller:

Randy Travis reportedly got himself into a lot more trouble this morning with alcohol.
Just two weeks after the country singer was arrested for DUI - following a car accident in which he appeared to be driving naked - and six months after he was popped for public drunkenness, Travis was hospitalized due to injuries suffered in a church parking lot brawl around 1 a.m.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that they responded to the incident after receiving a tip about two men fighting and, upon arriving at the scene, escorted both to the hospital.
One onlooker says Travis appeared to be "extremely intoxicated," while another insider claims the fisticuffs took place over a female.
No word yet from the artist or anyone in his camp. Dude clearly is in need of some serious help.

Jeffrey Johnson Identified as Empire State Building Shooting Suspect
A few new details have emerged regarding this morning's shooting outside the Empire State Building in New York City.
Police have identified Jeffrey Johnson as the culprit, saying the 53-year old used a .45-caliber pistol to shoot an ex-coworker around 9 a.m. on the Fifth Avenue side of the famous structure.
Johnson, who was killed by police, was reportedly laid off from Hazan Imports about a year ago. He and the unnamed coworker he allegedly shot were the only two who died in the attack.
Sources say eight other victims were wounded in the shooting, but all are expected to recover.
Rebecca Fox, who works across the street from the Empire State Building, told CNN she was on her way to grab coffee when the chaos erupted and told the network:
"There are detectives everywhere. They are trying to map out the crime scene. I saw blood on the sidewalk. It was just a very surreal scene."
